Thomas Wayne was relatively new to the OTH program. Relatively because for years he had been one of the DoD's, Department of Defense, selectees for Project Cubed. Out of all the services only 7 had survived the process, Tommy was one of them. Now since the cutbacks and recent attacks they had consolidated all the projects under the umbrella of Team 9. Although no longer with the Navy, they called him Chief and when it came to intuition, when he had a bad feeling, it was bad...if not worse.
He was going over case files when he looked and saw the familiar stamp in the Project Squared files...it was the Army Seal, but the DoD didn't have anyone in Squared. Cubed was the first and the last time military personell had been used with the any of the OTH projects and the year...it was off. Project Cubed was the 80's, but the file on this person, whose name was conviently blacked out, began in the early 70's. Then it came over him...that feeling he got when things went bad or were seriously wrong but this time, it was so much more intense he actually had to hold onto something to keep from falling and he knew he had to find out who this person was and that he'd need help doing so.

Assistant Margaret Cho looked at Katrina with disgust.
"You know" she said looking at Katrina, eyes like dagger "Despite what people may think. I earned my way here, in fact my husband was a hindrance. People were afraid that if I was promoted that they may think that he had some kind of influence on the decision so I was passed over way too many times, but I loved my job and I loved him and I kept working harder until they had to give me this position because no one...and I mean no one had put the work I had put in...the sacrifice. Do you know why you're here Kat?"
"Director Cho..."
"Don't Director Cho me" Maggy said cutting Katrina off in mid sentence "Who's idea was this? Yours or your husbands? Which one of you thought that sleeping with my husband would get you extra privilidges?"
Margeret stops and studies Kat's face and smiles "He doesn't know does he?" she said already knowing the answer. "You have been sleeping with my husband for your private space and your husband doesn't know...oh this is too funny."
"I didn't..."
"Don't you dare lie to me! I have video. The funny thing...the funny thing is I signed off on you and your husband having a private base of operations right after I heard about your incident. You see I respect your husband...more than you it seems. My husband just took this information and used it to get some tail from some ....souped up whore. Now what will your husband think when he finds out that it's my name who signed off on your facility and not my husband's...and you've been....oh let's find out shall we?"
"No, please..." Katrina begs "It would crush him..."
"What makes you think he doesn't already know?" Cho smiles "You know what? I won't tell him this week...maybe not even next month, but I will tell him, I just haven't decided the 'when' or the 'how'. I'll let you just live in fear of losing the only man who treated you like a woman and not the whore you truly are."
